Hey, I’m Morgan Cyrus—born and raised in the hills of Louisa, Kentucky, where music isn’t just something you hear; it’s in your blood, your family stories, and the way you get through the day.
Music has run deep in my family for generations. Growing up, I was surrounded by it—my kin include legends like Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus, and my own mother poured her soul out singing on the stage of the Ryman Auditorium, the Mother Church of Country Music. That heritage shaped me. Country music isn’t a trend to me; it’s home. It’s storytelling, heartache, honesty, and performing with every ounce of heart and soul you’ve got.
But somewhere in the early 2000s, I started feeling the shift. By around 2010, I was watching the market flood with pop and rap influences that pushed real country to the edges. Great talents—artists with voices that could stand alongside Keith Whitley, George Jones and the classics—were getting squeezed out. The sound was changing, and too many deserving people weren’t getting what they deserved: a real shot, fair deals, and a chance to stay true to themselves. I had deep ties in Nashville—clubs, venues, big stars who’ve become good friends—and as a socialite in this town, I’ve watched the city grow while seeing too many struggling artists get lost in the shuffle. I couldn’t just stand by and watch anymore. I had to do something different.
That’s why I started Cyrus Music Management in Nashville. This isn’t about chasing quick fame or copying what’s hot right now. I’m here for artists who live and breathe music—the ones who do it because it’s in their heart and soul, not because they want to be famous overnight.
Our creed is simple: Our music, Heart & Soul.
I tell every artist the same thing: If fame is your only goal, this probably isn’t going to work out. But if you love it, if you believe in it with everything you’ve got, and if you bring the work ethic to match—your music will find its way out there, the right way, and it’ll last. Success built on heart and soul beats any shortcut every time.
I stand against the stale, trend-chasing sound—copycats who mimic what’s mainstream just to get a quick hit. If your heart and soul isn’t in it, you’re wasting time (and mine). I point to bands like Metallica as proof: stay true to your artistry, and the real fans will follow for decades.
With my artists, it’s about fairness, hustle from both sides, and building good, lasting relationships. We work together—no shortcuts, no overnight miracles. It’s a long-haul commitment. Before a big show, a label meeting, or stepping into any room, you’ll hear me say it with a bro hug: “Get out there and kick ass.”
And when nerves hit? I tell them: Lean into it. Let it go. You belong here. Believe in yourself.
That’s who we are at Cyrus Music Management. We champion artists who pour their heart and soul into real country—the storytelling, the raw emotion, the kind of music that connects people and stands the test of time.
If that sounds like you, let’s talk. I’m here to fight for artists who do this for the right reasons. Because in the end, it’s not about the spotlight—it’s about the music.
Our music. Heart & Soul.
